The Willow’s Whisper

Cascading slowly, softly,

the willow leans into the wind,

its branches breathing secrets

only the still heart can hear.

Beneath, a shaded sanctuary—

a hush of green,

a tender shelter

where the weary come to rest,

nestled, protected, safe.

The body remembers such places.

Our nerves, like slender branches,

sway and tremble,

yet bend without breaking.

In their gentle rhythm,

we find the language of healing.

The willow teaches:

to bow is not to fall,

to sway is not to shatter,

to soften is to survive.

And so, we lean with her,

carrying whispers of wisdom

into the quiet corridors of our bodies,

trusting that the journey,

like the willow,

will hold us steady

until the storm has passed
